Get To Know Our Team
360 Translations, founded in 1988 by Dr. Daniel Swartz, CI, CT, ED: K-12, SC:L, began as an ASL-only interpreting agency. The agency grew alongside the demand for ASL services, especially after the Americans with Disabilities Act passed in 1990.
Dr. Swartz, a Gallaudet University graduate, was the second hearing person to earn a bachelor’s degree there and the first to graduate with honors. His leadership established 360’s commitment to exceptional communication services for those whose primary language isn’t English.
Initially focused on the Deaf community and ASL users, 360 expanded to include spoken language interpreting and text translation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company introduced Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) for all languages, enhancing safety and resource efficiency.
